AYURVEDIC TREATMENT FOR ECZEMA

Eczema or vicharchika as it is referred in Ayurveda is mainly attributed to unhealthy lifestyle and poor diet which is known impair and partial digestion and aggravating pitta dosha. Toxins or ama is released due to this poor digestion, vitiating Vata ,Pitta and Kapha and causing pathological changes of tissues viz. twak, mamsa and rakta. If not treated early this chronic condition affects deeper dhatus and creates complication. In conventional or western treatment, Ezcema is controlled by steroid based creams and antibiotics, which decreases the immunity of the body without providing any long term solution. So it is advisable to treat the condition from the very root of the problem maintain the balance of the humors.
